First impression:

Playa del Carmen is a place that is located in Quintana Roo Mexico, when we went, we had a good impressions at the place because it seems a quiet place, but it has more tourism than other beaches, on the other hand, it has many malls, which increases the price of life. from that place. However, even though it seems to be a good place, you have to be careful with the tourist’s traps.

History:

At the beginning of the 20th century, there was a community of fishermen, producers of coconut trees and the gum tree.

Until the mid-1980s, Playa del Carmen was a small city with less than 1,500 inhabitants, although in the last two decades it has changed significantly with the growth of tourism.

Mainly due to the immigration of people from different parts of the republic looking for the job demanded by the tourism industry.

Four years ago when I visited Playa del Carmen for the first time, something very funny happened to me, I got lost when I arrived, as they told me that the cathedral it’s in the east of the city and when I tried to get there I got lost. I remember when I get I was reading a book so that’s distracted me.

I remember that the places I visited were very beautiful, after a week I did not want to leave, but before I left I visited all the tourist places like Xcaret, Fifth Avenue and many more.

One year after the incident, I returned to Playa del Carmen and after a long journey I thought I could just move around the city and the guide told me that the best restaurants are on the coast but there were some robbers who took my money and my telephone. I didn’t like the people of Playa del Carmen because they are so laid-back when anyone commits a crime

The first time I visited Playa del Carmen, the people were very friendly with me because they requested information about places to people from the street or restaurants and they answered me in a very good way.

I like the beach because it has the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen it’s really clear and clean, also it has an amazing view there are so many shades of blue, it’s really cool. I remember I was taking a diving course when I visited Playa del Carmen.

I ate “ceviche” at the restaurant and also I went to the downtown to buy some clothes, the weather was really nice, I’m going back in my next vacations it is really relaxing and peaceful I can’t wait to come back with my cousin, we’ll go snorkeling.

Go to El Eden water hole

One of the favorite activities of the locals is to use their free days to explore the cenotes and other nearby natural areas. Eden is ideal for a relaxed day, among friends, in mode: enjoy nature.

When you live in Playa del Carmen, after a while it is already boring to go to the Fifth Avenue. Therefore, it is best to take full advantage of the possibilities of the place, among which is the exciting option to obtain your diving certificate and explore the cenotes and nearby reefs, but when we went to playa del Carmen we had a good experiences with all the seller of the fifth avenue.

Compare the places with others:

The ambience of this beach is calmer than in the city of Cancun or other beaches, because the people admire its many touristic places.

Playa del Carmen is more expensive than other beaches, for the amenities they offer like hotels, food and other things. But it’s a nice inversion because when we went we had a nice hotel with room service.

Playa del Carmen is closer to Merida than Acapulco and is more convenient because we use less gasoline and pollution in the ambience.
